  1. Great deal Karen!
I wish they would start advertising these deals again so we have the ad to present to them when they don't print. I feel like crossing my fingers when the receipt prints....hoping they print too. I will be out trying this today and seeing if I can figure out an end date on the $5.00 GM catalina.

  2. I looked at the catalina and there is NO mention of dates. :( Though it is advertised at Shaws starting the 8th, so hopefully it will run through their sale ad. The last time we found a hidden deal, the last day it worked was Wed.

Please let me know if you find out anything.

  3. I tried in WBL Cub at 1pm. No catalinas printed. Bummer!

  4. I bought 14 yogurts at $1.49 and used 14 $1 off coupons. I got the $5 GM and the 50 BTFE.

  5. Same trasaction as you. 4 BC fruit snacks, 5 NV Clusters... same prices, same coupons... Any thoughts??

  6. Today I got 4 BC gummies and 5 NV Clusters, used almost the same coupons except I had the $1.60/1 clusters vocal point coupons. Total was like $9.40 and got the $5, $3.50, $2.50 back like you did. Thanks! Do you know if this rolls? Can I buy the same stuff again and pay with these catalinas? Thanks for putting this together for us!

  7. Trying to figure this deal out...what does 50 BTFE mean?

    ReplyDelete
  8. AJ 50 BTFE is Box Tops for Education. You give them to your school. It is worth $5 to them.

WBL person...wondering if your store is corporate owned or franchised. Otherwise, I have no idea since the prices are the same as mine, you would of made it over the $20 mark. Did you get anything?

  9. What store have you been going to Karen? I am planning to try at Northdale Cub tonight with your transaction. I'll look around for signage and talk to favorite cashiers to see what they know. I'll report back.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I went to the Champlin Cub. There was no signage other than the BC fruit snacks of buy 3 get $1.50 catalina.

  11. Karen,
I have the same question as Rachel, will these catalinas roll so I can turn around and repeat the same transaction, pay with my catalinas, and still get more to print? I eat the Nature Valley clusters on my way to work every day, absolutely love them!

  12. Cub's catalina's have rolled into another for the longest time. There are only a tiny few that didn't and I don't remember them. I will be rolling today, but won't be back until mid afternoon with a report.

  13. I went early this morning and did two deals back to back.

    4 Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks
    5 Nature Valley Clusters

All 3 catalinas printed ($5, $3.50, $2.50) and the 50 Box Tops too.

The catalinas rolled from the first deal to the second without a hitch.

  14. Thanks Jennifer for sharing that with everyone! I didn't think it would be a problem.

Are there any left now? LOL

  15. I left plenty :)
I'm going to the Cub at Riverdale this afternoon. I'll report how that goes tonight. I've had problems with catalinas printing at that store before but I think it's because they're not a corporate store.

  16. I dont understand the how to get the $5gm catalina. Can I get this w/out getting the nature valley and get something else instead?
I have looked and cant find the info.

    Thanks!

  17. The box top 4 education website has a link called bonus box tops on the left hand side, if you link on it there is another link for local bonus box tops, click on that you can search for area Cubs that are participating in the bonus box tops. It says it runs though the 9th. I went this morning and got $20 worth of general mills (box top logos) stuff and that was before coupons and got the $5 cat and the 50 bonus box tops. I got fruit snacks, toaster strudels, and cookie mix (I think that was all!)

    ReplyDelete
  18. So this offer for the $5 catalina is for any general mills products correct? So as long as I spend $20 on any gen.mills products I'll get an extra $5cat good on my next order!?!?
    Thanks

  19. Tonya...thanks for the info. I will get the link and post it at the top.

I did 5 transactions today and the only one I had a problem with was with the Nature Valley Granola Bars. Otherwise, I bought Yoplait Delights, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks or Roll ups, and Nature Valley Clusters.

  20. Went to the White Bear store and did several transactions. All went smoothly. Got the cats every time. Hope more cats come our way!

  21. Okay...I can NOT find the link that says anything about this promo on the BTFE website. Anyone?

    Amy...Awesome!

  22. This is where I found it:

Click on "local bonus offers" on the left and enter your zip.

  23. Anyone know any senerios to buy more fruit snacks and less nature valley and still come out with a good deal?? thanks

  24. I was able to get this great deal too at the Elk River Cub today. Thx Karen! I'd like to go back and get it a second time before the deal expires. For those of you who have bought more than one round, did you have all 7 man. q's the second time around(2 BC Fruit Snacks & 5 NV Clusters)? I can get 2 - $1 q's for the BC Fruit Snacks, but I am only able to get 3 - $1 q's for the NC Clusters(I got error messages that said I had printed the max number of times).

  25. You can buy more than 4 fruit snacks, BUT you will be paying $1.99 for the rest. If you buy 5, you will get a $3.50 catalina instead of the $2.50.

As far as typing in my zip code...this is what I get....
    January Return to School
    See Stores Nearby

and then....Enter for a chance to win 75,000 bonus box tops. Sweepstakes period 1/3/10 - 1/31/10.

    ReplyDelete
  26. AJ...there are .50 off coupons for the NV Clusters in many of the GM inserts.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Karen...after you type in your zip just click on "See Stores Nearby" and the list pops up.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Amy...I must be the only person who can not see this. Firefox must hate me. I just see a list of stores but nothing about the GM promo. LOL I am having fun shopping and filling up my stash of fruit snacks, clusters, and yogurt.

  29. I was able to do th deal in Savage this morning. They had exactly 5 NV Clusters left (whew!), so I could only do one transaction. Hopefully they'll get more in before the deal ends!

    ReplyDelete
  30. If anyone does this deal today, please let me know if it's still working. TIA!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Not yet...have to go out later and will do it.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Someone posted that the deal worked for them today! Maybe we will be lucky and get it for the whole week!

  33. When you do the fruit snacks and the nut clusters deal are you using the Cub Coupon for $1.75 for the fruit snacks? If it calculates based on the sale price then it's $7 for the fruit snacks and $12.45 for the nut clusters bringing the total to less than $20. Or does the $1.75 count as the store coupon and it is calculated off a shelf price for the fruit snacks. Thanks! Has anyone tried this at the Cub at Central & 125th in Blaine?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes, I use the Cub coupon to bring the $1.99 fruit snacks down to $1.75. It doesn't take the Cub coupon into account for the total.

Cub doesn't work on retail prices. They work on the sale prices. Though the catalinas work BEFORE all coupons.

  35. Has anyone tried this deal at any Cub near Coon Rapids? I wanted to go there tonight but not sure if it'll work. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Yes, Jennifer has tried the deal at the Coon Rapids store.
