Thanks to Sue, who got THIS email about Cub Foods buy $30 get $15 back. I have tested it out along with several other people. I would PRINT out THE EMAIL HERE and bring it with you just in case.
It has been reported that the catalina is NOT printing today due to the catalina company saying that the B$30G$15 back ended. So bring in the email if you are going to do it.
The items that are included should include all the items on the back page of the Cub Foods ad. PLEASE, PLEASE print your coupons from my blog as there are several that should go with this deal.

So basically, you need to buy $30 worth of items and you get $15 back! You can use man q's also and it won't affect your $30 total. You can use the $15 that you get from your first transaction and use it to pay for a second or third. :) The $15 comes out as 3 $5 catalinas.

2 Yoplait Delight $2.49 - 2 $1 off coupons
2 cans of Veggies @ .79
2 Wishbone @ $1.99 - $1 x 2 coupons
Total before coupons was $30.42. After coupons $21.42 and I received back 3 $5 catalina's and 1 $1.50 from the wishbone. So final for all the above was $4.92.
Why don't I see this deal advertised? Is it in the ad somewhere?
ReplyDeleteIt is an unadvertised deal right now. People got the email that I linked above telling them about the deal. I have tried it two times and each time I got the $15 back in catalinas. The only thing that isn't working is the Kleenex.
ReplyDeleteI did call a manager and he is checking at corp if this is on sale next week or what is going on as to why it isn't advertised in the paper. I am going to hopefully get more answers tomorrow.
I called the manager and he said that it doesn't look for for these types of programs to be around as people were complaining it was too confusing. It may also be why this wasn't advertised, but sent out by email to several people.
ReplyDeleteI am doing the deals.
Thanks for your response and calling the manager. I'm glad you got a hold of the e-mail so you could pass it on! Lovin' those deals!! :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the kleenex will work at Shaws next week.
ReplyDeleteCTSunshine
CT...we can't even argue that it should be in the deal since it isn't even advertised. We could get some really cheap Kleenex too.
ReplyDeletelorenzduo did this deal...
ReplyDelete6 wishbone dressings - $1.25 x 3 qs
2 breyers - $1.00 IP q
1 breyers - $0.75 q
2 yoplait delights -$1.00x2 qs
2 yo-plus - $1.00x2 qs
=$30.87 - 9.50 = 21.37
I got 3 $5 cats back and 3 $1.50 cats from the wishbone.
It is a money maker on the wishbone salad dressings. You have to include at least 2 in your order to get back a $1.50 catalina. You can purchase more and get back one $1.50 catalina for every two that you buy.
ReplyDelete2 bottles $3.98 / 2 (I just half everything for the promo) = $1.99
Catalina - $1.50
coupons - $2 (2 $1 coupons)
$1.51 Money maker when I buy two bottles.
Any other scenarios? I'd like to stay away from the ice cream and sweets. :)
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if the Cottonelle toilet paper with the $5 off paper add is ok to go towards the $15 off? thanks
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't try the Cottonelle Toliet paper as it isn't listed in the list that I found online. If you do try it, be ready to return what you bought.

No ice cream...hmmmm....what items are you looking at wanting to get?
ReplyDeleteYou could buy 38 cans of vegies for $30.02 and then get back $15. Each can would cost you about 39-40 cents.
ReplyDeleteBuy 16 boxes of cereal for $30.08. Use 8 $1 off 2 coupons (11/1 SS) = $22.08. Get back $15 in cats for a final total of $7.08 for 16 boxes of cereal.
8 cereals $15.04 (-$4 $1/2 coupons)
2 Yoplait Yogurt $4.98 (- $2 $1/1 coupons)
8 cans of veggies $6.32
4 Scotts Paper towels $3.96 (-$1 coupon on 4)
Total $30.30 - $23.30 (coupons)- $15 cats= $8.30 final total.
I am new, what is Catalina?
ReplyDeleteakaMomS
There are some more coupons at EatBetterAmerica.com (you need to sign up), including $.55 for Cheerios and $.50 for Gold Medal flour.
ReplyDeleteA catalina is a coupon that will spit out next to the register. The machine is white and it is next to the register.
ReplyDeleteKaren - you are wonderful!!! I am upset that it is Wednesday, and I haven't even been to Cub yet. I did hit doubles at Rainbow this week, and have gone hog wild at CVS and Walgreens. Thanks for this list!!!
ReplyDeleteBethany..you are welcome. I have done this 3 times and will be doing one if not two for the next three nights!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Wags has been fun, yet confusing as to why some things are BOGO free and BOGO 50%. One store is and the other isn't. LOL I have enough mascara now.
Hi! How do I get a copy of the email? I tried to send it to myself, but it told me I had to have the original email address before I could send it to myself and use it. Any suggestions? My email is shanneee@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI have enough coupons to do this variation, not sure if I will-do I need that much yogurt?
ReplyDelete13-YoPlait Delights or Yo-Plus 4-packs, 2.49 ea
Total 32.37, less 13 $1.00/1 mfq, less 15.00 cats from last transaction, equals 4.37 OOP, get 15.00 more in Catalinas.
Help! I need a copy of the email to bring into customer service to receive my $15 in Catalina. I doubled check against the list, and I purchased everything correctly. I need an email to prove to Cub, and they will issue it to me. Where do I find the email I see people talking about?
ReplyDeleteIf you go to the top of this, you will see a sentence that says this...O M G This is going to be a HOT week for us! YIPPPE! Thanks to Sue, who got THIS email, I decided to test it out on Sunday night at 10:30.
ReplyDeleteClick on the "THIS" and it will give you the email.
I'm confused. Ok, so a catalina is a coupon. So, if I use this email at Cub Foods, then do I get $15 in coupons on various items, or is it coupons off the products I'm already buying, so my $30 purchase turns into only $15 being spent? I'm new to all this.
ReplyDeleteYes, a catalina is a coupon that prints out next to the register. This catalina or coupons are for $15 off ANYTHING in the store.
ReplyDeleteSo you buy $30 worth of stuff. Use your man q's on the items. Pay for the items. The cashier will give you your receipt and of course, NOW the promo they say has ended, BUT we have the email that says it goes until the 7th. Bring it to the customer service counter and they "should" give you a $15 Gift card.
If you want to, you can ask at the service counter first if the catalina doesn't print, if they will honor the email.
By chance, did anyone happen to try this deal at the Forest Lake Cub on Friday? I'd like to do it on Sat. but hate to hassel with the service desk. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIf you did do the deal and you did NOT get the catalina, call the catalina company to see if they can mail out out the catalinas. You will need your receipt. 1-888-826-8766
