Here is another suggestion I have done. You know there are some weeks when there are no inserts? Well, you can call them up and tell them to do a vacation hold for your account. They will then take that non delivered week and add it on to your subscription.
If you get the 26 week subscription, your $1.25 paper will end at the end of 26 papers that are delivered and then they will continue to send you the paper at a higher cost UNLESS you contact the paper to cancel. The best deal is to lock your $1.25 price in for 52 week subscriptions, so you get the $1.25 paper for twice as long!
