Bonus Swagbucks for New Sign ups!

Great time to get started earning Swagbucks if you aren't part of the newest craze to earn Gift cards and Payal!  Remember...I don't post anything that I don't do already!

Head to Swagbucks and sign up. Enter the code SWAGNATION5 to get a bonus 20 Swagbucks for a total of 50 Swagbucks.  You then just need to earn 400 more Swagbucks to get a $5 Gift Certificate to Amazon.

What are Swagbucks? Swagbucks are basically points that you can earn. You can exchange these “points” for any of the items in the “Swag Store”. My favorite items in the Swag Store are the gift cards! You can get FREE Gift Cards from Amazon, Target, Starbucks, Lowe’s and more just by redeeming your Swagbucks!

How do you earn Swagbucks? You can set Swagbucks as your home page or even download their FREE toolbar! You’ll randomly earn Swagbucks while searching the internet! There are also Swag Codes that are released daily, you can find these on the Swagbucks Facebook page, Swagbucks Twitter page, Swagbucks blog and the Swagbucks Toolbar!

I tend to win in the morning, afternoon, and evening with my searches.  PLUS this week they are UPPING the amount that each of us wins and there are MORE points being awarded!  So start searching and saving up for Christmas gifts.

Plus, you can get more points by telling other people about Swagbucks. So when they win, YOU win!  It really is a great program.

Thanks for signing up!  I appreciate it!

Rainbow Foods, Pick N Save, Copps 5/2

(Become a fan of Minnesota Coupon Adventure on Facebook and know when this list is up each week.)

Rainbow Foods, Pick N Save, Copps doubles every Wednesday and Saturday. On Wednesday and Saturday they will double five (5) $1 (value can be less) coupons once you spend $25.

There may be some coupons that state DND on them when you print them out. I have no way of knowing which say DND on them unless I print them all out. If the coupon code starts with a 5, it is up to the cashier to not double it as the register will double it.

***You may or may not be able to use 2 coupons on a BOGO item. It is up to the individual store.***

Be sure to have them scan their gas promo card. This also is based on your purchase BEFORE coupons, so it can add up. I just saved $1.90 per gallon or $38 as we filled up with 20 gallons.

SS= Smart Source, RP= Red Plum, PG= Proctor and Gamble, GM= General Mills, BOGO= Buy One Get One Free

Mother's Day Deals

Here are some deals for mother's on or the weekend of Mother's Day.  Thanks to Red Plum for the write up.

Free Ice Cream at Cold Stone:
Each Cold Stone Creamery location is individually owned, so you'll need to call your local store to find out how they are specifically celebrating May 9. But the lovely folks at Cold Stone HQ did tip us off that in Denver, Miami, Raleigh, Green Bay and Appleton many stores will be hosting a Mother’s Day giveaway entitling Mom to a free 'Creation' sundae. In some markets, moms may score a free ice cream when they buy a kid's cone, or just for having their kidlets with them. Again, these deals each vary by store, so call ahead and suss out what you're store has got... in store!

Free Frozen Yogurt at TCBY:
We love that TCBY is once again giving us a lip-smacking freebie for Mom's Day. Mothers and grandmothers are encouraged to come in and be treated to a free frozen yogurt in a cup or cone. As wth every one of these freebies, call your local store first to be sure they're in on the deal.

Something Free at Carrabba’s Italian Grill:
The crafty cooks at this Italian chain are playing Mother's Day rather close to the vest. All they'll say is that moms who dine at Carrabba’s on Mother’s Day will receive a "special surprise."

Free $25 Gift Card at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse:
Mothers dining at a Fleming’s location on May 9 will go home with a free $25 gift card to use on a future visit. In addition to the free gift cards, they'll be serving up a special brunch buffet from 11:30 am until 3:00 pm. Be sure to make a reservation, though, so you don't miss out on the gift card!

Free $20 Gift Card at Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine:
If you live near a Roy’s you've got three days to take advantage of their Mom's Day giveaway. May 7-9 moms dining in the restaurant will get a $20 'bonus card.

Couponing for Community

I have been blessed by not having to use the food shelves over the past year and 2 months as my husband was laid off.  People wonder how we were able to survive on his unemployment and my part time working.  I have to admit, that couponing was the answer.

I have learned to use coupons to save my family money and have taught many others to save their family money. I have also been able to donate to local food shelves and help out others that have hard times, that need more than what a food shelf has to offer. Without couponing, there wouldn't be a way for me to do that and I feel that it is part of my mission in life to help others in need.

With those skills that we have learned, I challenge you to pick up a few extra items this week to donate on Saturday 5/8 to Stamp Out Hunger, a national food drive organized by the Association of Letter Carriers. Pick up your non-perishable items and place them in a bag by your mailbox. Your mail carrier will pick it up. How easy is that?!?

RSVP to the event Couponing for Community that Kaley has organized for this week.  Join this community of couponers by giving items to a food pantry, a friend or relative in need, or a battered woman's shelter during the week of May 2-8.  I would love to hear where you are donating to or if you have a great idea of what to donate with the sales this week either here on the blog or on facebook!

Let's do our share and fill up the food shelves.
