Rainbow Foods, Pick N Save, Copps doubles every Wednesday and Saturday. On Wednesday and Saturday they will double five (5) $1 (value can be less) coupons once you spend $25.
There may be some coupons that state DND on them when you print them out. I have no way of knowing which say DND on them unless I print them all out. If the coupon code starts with a 5, it is up to the cashier to not double it as the register will double it.

Be sure to have them scan their gas promo card. This also is based on your purchase BEFORE coupons, so it can add up. I just saved $1.90 per gallon or $38 as we filled up with 20 gallons.

ReplyDeleteI tried to use it today and they wouldn't accept it. Not a big deal- I just hadn't factored in another $4 item so I wanted to do a new shop. I asked the cashier to void the transaction and to return my coupons. After 5-7 mins of the cashier trying to figure out the coupons that needed to be returned to me - she accuses me of taking my Activia coupons back when she turned her back. There were 5 people in line behind me, and the cashier made a huge stink about that she knows the lady in front of me used Activia coupons and these are hers and not mine. I tried to joke about the situation with the people behind me, but I was so embarrassed. She finally called a manager and said, "now if my drawer is short coupons it's because this lady took coupons that were not hers." Needless to say I left without doing another shop, but wow I couldn't believe it. I waited for her to sort out my coupons, never touched a thing and she accuses me of stealing coupons when she turned around. Come on - I love coupons, I was patient, never got angry and did not deserve to be treated this way.
my Maple Grove Rainbow would not take the Palermo's pizza coupons today or the Buy one Get One Free Classico sauce. Said the Palermo's was a copy (it wasn't, printed right from website, your link) and Rainbow does not accept BOGO free coupons. Since when?? When I asked to have by coupons returned, the cashier said "I don't know who else will except them, but you can dig them out of the trash". I'm irritated with Rainbow.

ReplyDeleteLaura...I am so sorry that you had to deal with what happened. Good for you for being calm about it, but it had to be hard to keep your cool. I would talk to the head manager about it though.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the cheese coupon, it has been a problem for many people. One person showed it to the cashier that it told you to go to the website to print off a $3 coupon. The cashier still said no.
It doesn't make sense since I use a $5 Kelloggs coupon from Target last year and they took it.
Rainbow will not take BOGO printed coupons or coupons that are Free that are printed anymore due to people copying coupons.

I had recieved coupons from frito lays for free doritos (they were emailed to me so I had no choice but to print them off) rainbow in Maple Grove wouldn't take them, when I asked the cashier why he responed with saying because we can't give you things for free. I called my friend who works as Target and she said that Target would definatly take them and any other coupons, they will take anything people bring in, so I will be bringing my coupons there.
