Coupon Lingo!

How to read a coupon match up…

SS = Smart Source
RP = Red Plum
PG = Proctor and Gamble
GM = General Mills
All You = All You Magazine

Tombstone Pizza $3.33 (reg price $5.49)
~$1/1 coupon from 12/6 SS
Final price if doubled: $1.33

Tombstone Pizza = The product that is on sale
$3.33 (reg price $5.49) = The sale price and regular price of the product
~$1/1 = The coupon amount off the item. This means $1 off of 1 product.
coupon from 12/6 SS = You will find the coupon in 12/6 Smart Source insert
Final price if doubled: $1.33 = This is the final price of the item if you are at Rainbow on a double day.

List of Abbreviations:

$1/1 = $1 off when you buy 1 product, etc
$1/2 = $1 off when you buy 2 product, etc
$2/10 = $2 off when you buy 10 product, etc
All You = Magazine with coupons in it. Buy at Walmart or through a subscription
B&M = Actual store
B1G1 = Buy 1 get 1 FREE
BOGO = Buy 1 get 1 FREE
B1G50% = Buy 1 get 50% off the second one
Blinkies = Coupons that come from little black boxes next to the item. Pull out the coupon from the box.
BTFE = Box Tops for Education.  Schools redeem these for cash for their school
C/O = Cash off a item
Cat = shorten version of catalina
Catalina = A coupon that prints out of the Catalina machine at the checkout lane. These might be for money off of a product when you buy it or a coupon for money off your next purchase.
CLFE = Campbells Labels for Education. Schools collect these.
CRT = Cash register Tape.
DCRT = Dated cash register Tape.
ECB =Extra Care Buck from the CVS
FAR = Free After Rebate
GC = Gift Card or Gift Certificate
GM - General Mills
HT = Hang Tag ~ you will find these around the necks of bottles
MIR = Mail In Rebate
NED = No Expiration Date
OAS = On any size
OOP = Out of pocket
OYNO = On or Off Your Next Order ~Used mostly with catalina offers
PG = Proctor and Gamble.
Peelie = A coupon or rebate found attached to a product
POP = Proof of Purchase
Printable = A coupon that is printed from the internet
Rebate = An offer to get all or part of your money back
RP = Red Plum – A coupon insert that comes in the Sunday paper
RR = Register Rewards ~ You will earn these at Walgreens
SASE = Self Addressed Stamped Envelope
S/H = Shipping and Handling
SMP = Specially Marked Packages
SS = Smart Source ~This is a coupon insert that comes in your Sunday paper
Store Coupon = Coupons that tend to be issued by the store and you can find them in the store ad. You can use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon at the same time.
UPC = Universal Product Code ~ this is the bar code found on the package. It will have lines for the cashier to scan to ring up.
WSL = While Supplies Last
WT = Wine Tag ~ coupons or rebates found on the necks of wine or other items
WYB = When you buy
YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary ~ Meaning that it might not be the same at your store
