Target and Black Friday

Wanted to give you the heads up with Target and Black Friday. I went in and chatted with the customer service ladies about price matching (PM)on Black Friday. Here is what they had to say...

• NO  PM on time deals.  Like you get a bike for $25, but only from 5 am - 11am.  It doesn't matter either if you are in Target at that time.
• NO PM if it is a door buster deal.  If it says "door buster" on the ad or product part of the ad, they won't price match it.
• Yes PM if it is for the whole two days.  So the price is the same for Friday and Saturday.
• They didn't know if you bought one of their doorbusters early if you could bring it back in on those days to PM.   It is kinda funny, cause I could always return and then rebuy it.  Makes no sense, but they have to follow the rules.

Update PM at Target

What a shopping trip I had on Saturday at Target! I learned several things on that trip. I was saddened to learn that one of my favorite cashiers, James, will no longer be there as he will be enlisting in the airforce. While the country will get a great asset, many of us will be losing a great cashier (and I consider him a friend). I always look for him while I am checking out as he never questions my coupons that I have (all are legit by the way) and always has a positive attitude. I will also be losing a CSM, hopefully only for about 6 weeks as she will be having a baby soon, but 6 weeks is a LONG time! So hurry back (you know who you are).

Now the price match! James told me that they can now price match up at the registers! No more heading over to the customer service counter. He showed me that the button is next to the K1 key. The cashier will look at the full ad and verify the price. Then scan the item, hit the price match or price adjust button and then key in the price. It is that easy! Thanks Target for making price matching easier!

Here are some great deals that you can do at Target by price matching other store ads. Read more about it HERE.

Rainbow has 1 lb. strawberries for $1.48. Use the $1 Target Q to get these for $0.48. LINK to coupon.

Rainbow also has 48 oz. Edy's ice cream, sorbet or frozen yogurt for $1.98. Use the $1 Target Q here and get some good ice cream for $0.98. Thats $0.02 an ounce!!!! You are limited one.

Rainbow also has Jumbo packs of Pampers for $8.99. You can combine this with the $3 off diapers and wipes Target Q, 6-28 SS, and $1 man q, 6-07 PG. At my store the wipes you have to buy are $5.99. So that would be $10.98 for 180 wipes and a jumbo pack of diapers.

Coborns has .99 Oscar Mayer Hot dogs. Combine with the $1/2 Target Q, 4/19 SS, and the $1/2 Man q, 5/10 and 6/21 SS, and get them for FREE! Ends 6/30 because the Target Q expires then.

Target will NOW accept competitor's ads! So if you see a better price in another store's ad, just bring in the WHOLE ad to the customer service area at Target and they will comp the price! LINK to the article.
