If you don't have any ECB's or Extra Care Bucks to start to "roll" with, you can start off small and pick up two items for .99. Pay $1.98 plus tax, then get those ECB's and then pay for two new .99 items with the ECB's that you just earned and so on until you were able to pick up all 5 items at CVS. At the end you will have paid $1.98 out of pocket (OOP) and end up having 10 items AND $1.98 to spend in the store next week on school supplies or whatever else you may want.

  1. Do you still earn ECB when you use ECB to pay for the purchase? I know that Walgreen's won't allow you to do this. Thanks!

  2. Yes, you will earn ECB's when you use ECB's on the purchase. CVS is not at all like Walgreens when it comes to the ECB's. You could use the same ECB to buy the same product if you want to and still get the second ECB!

    Thanks for asking!
