If you get to CVS and find out that they have run out of the items, don't start running to other stores. Ask for a raincheck for the items that are out. They will still give you the sale price and the Extra Care Bucks that you should earn. Plus, these rainchecks don't expire, though you might want to grab the school supplies as soon as they come in...it may be a seasonal item.
I went to CVS about 1130 this morning and they were out of most of the school supplies. I asked for a rain check and was told they don't give rain checks on the 3 day deals! I have gotten a rain check for the 3 day deals the last 3 weeks because they are always out of everything by the second day. Suddenly their policy changed? I just went to another CVS and they gladly gave me a rain check. Has anyone else had this problem?
ReplyDeleteVal...I have always gotten a raincheck if items are out of stock even on a two day sale. If this happens, I would call corp and ask them to call the store to have them start issuing rainchecks.
