What are Swagbucks? Swagbucks is a search engine (like google) that give you points in the form of Swagbucks. One you earn Swagbuck points, you can exchange these “points” for any of the items in the “Swag Store”. My favorite items in the Swag Store are the gift cards! You can get FREE Gift Cards from Amazon, Target, Starbucks, Lowe’s and more just by redeeming as little as 450 of your Swagbucks!
How do you earn Swagbucks? Right off the bat, you will get 30 Swagbuck points just for signing up. You can set Swagbucks as your home page or even download their FREE toolbar, which is what I did! Each day, you sign into the toolbar, you earn a point. You’ll randomly earn Swagbucks while searching the internet when you use the toolbar or the Swagbucks homepage. I tend to earn swagbucks within the first 5 searches.
There are also Swag Codes that are released daily and you can find these on the Swagbucks Facebook page, Swagbucks Twitter page, Swagbucks blog and the Swagbucks Toolbar! I will also post them on Minnesota Coupon Adventures Facebook page or you can post them there if you find one. If you get a special Swagcode, you will enter them in the “Enter Your Swag Code” box on Swagbucks.com’s home page. The code will look something like D8F45hyW3m4.
Fridays are MEGA Swagbuck days, when you can earn 20, 30 or even 50 Swagbucks. You also tend to win more times with your searches.
This is an easy way to start "saving" money for shopping in the winter for holiday gifts. I know many people who have earned $20 in Amazon gift cards (the best deal for the points 450 = $5) in just 3 months by just searching each day like they normally would have through google.
