Wanchai Ferry® and Macaroni Grill® Dry Dinner Kits Review and Give Away

Some of you knew that my husband was out in North Dakota working for the past 7 months, so date nights were impossible.  Now that he is home and laid off once again, we will get to resume date nights, but at home with kids out of the house for  a few hours.

So being asked by My Blog Spark to try Wanchai Ferry® and Macaroni Grill® Dry Dinner Kits was a welcoming treat.  So instead of going out to LeeAnn Chins, we tried the Orange Chicken Wanchai Ferry.

The directions were easy to follow and all I had to do was to add chicken to make the meal complete.

With candles glowing, we sat down to a wonderful meal of orange chicken.  I must say that we really did enjoy the Orange Chicken Wanchai meal.  The flavoring was just the right amount of sweetness and the sauce mixed in with the rice was a double treat that made the flavor last just a little bit longer.  I loved having the leftovers the next day and I will be buying this again.

We haven't had the chance to test the Macaroni Dry Grill Kits yet as he is out hunting, but we will soon.  I am so glad that I stocked up on chicken at the last sale as this meal just needs chicken to make it complete also.

For more information and dinner tips, visit WanchaiFerryAtHome.com and MacaroniGrillAtHome.com.  Be sure to follow Macaroni Grill on Twitter and “Like” the Facebook page to keep up with all of the latest news on your Macaroni Grill favorites!

  1. My now husband of thirteen years took me to dinner at Watertower Brewing. I had kicked my sandals off and sat on my feet during dinner (it was casual) and couldn't find my shoes when it was time to go.

  7. My first date with my boyfriend was at this Japanese BBQ Grill Restaurant name "Gyu Kaku" in East Village, NY.

We had fun at the restaurant since the concept of the restaurant is "cook" the food by yourself. We ordered Harami Miso Beef, Garlic prawn and chicken where we need to grill it by ourselves.

I'm asian and my boyfriend is caucasian. Introducing him to different kind of asian foods always make him excited :)

  10. My husband and I met at University of Wisconsin - Madison. We were on the same dorm floor and were great friends but did not go on our first date night until 2.5 years later! He picked me up on a REALLY warm November night (which made it especially memorable!) and took me out to a concert. Then we walked up to the park on Lake Medota and sat on a bench overlooking the lake in the moonlight. He leaned over and gave me a kiss! It took a long time for us to get to that point, but definitely well worth the wait!

  39. To make date night fun and special, I try to think up activities that we may not typically do to spice things up. Sometimes that's something as simple as going to the arcade or minigolf... I just like to do things that I wouldn't typically try!

  42. Our first date was going out for sushi. I had just moved to Alaska from North Dakota, so this was a huge culture shock (probably why he took me there - LOL), but it worked out that I LOVED it and sushi is one of my favorite foods. It continues to sort of be our thing for date night. Brings us back to where we began.
